Das nächste Windows Server Betriebssystem von Microsoft trägt bisher immer noch den Codename "Longhorn Server". Nun ist aber erstmals in einer Dokumentation (Hosting and Consuming WCF Services) auf MSDN der Name "Windows Server 2007" aufgetaucht. Bisher ging man davon aus, dass der Name für das neue Server-Betriebssystem "Windows Server 2008" lauten wird.
